Catalytic converter damage

Contaminated Fuel

Extended storage or short-trip driving
Over time, gasoline breaks down and ethanol attracts moisture, leading to internal corrosion and damage to fuel injector components. Frequent short trips prevent the engine from reaching optimal operating temperatures, accelerating this degradation process.
High-mileage and age
Over time, normal wear and tear on internal components can lead to fuel injector degradation. As vehicles accumulate miles, deposits naturally build up within the injectors, while aging seals and mechanical parts can become less efficient, ultimately compromising spray patterns and overall engine performance.
